For nearly a century, Lutheran Theological Seminary Saskatoon has prepared leaders to serve the church with theological depth, pastoral wisdom, and courage.
The church is changing. The need for thoughtful, faithful leadership has only grown.
Your support helps ensure that a strong Lutheran voice continues to shape theological education and the life of the church across Western Canada.
Strong theological education requires strong teachers, the ability to reach and recruit new students, and a real presence within the communities and congregations LTS serves.
Those things require resources.
Your gift supports the people and work that allow LTS to teach well, respond to a changing church, and prepare leaders for service across Western Canada.
LTS remains committed to doing this work with confidence, imagination, and a distinctly Lutheran voice.
Here For You is LTS’s five-year campaign to strengthen Lutheran theological education for the church we serve today and the church that is still taking shape.
The campaign focuses on three areas where support can make a substantial difference.
Excellent theological education begins with excellent teachers.
Your support helps sustain the faculty whose teaching, scholarship, mentoring, and leadership keep a strong Lutheran voice at the heart of theological education.
Students cannot answer a call to theological education if they cannot find the door.
Your support helps LTS reach prospective students, communicate clearly, strengthen access, and provide the tools and infrastructure that connect people with theological education.
LTS serves a church spread across an immense region.
Your support helps take teaching, workshops, faculty engagement, and theological conversation beyond Saskatoon and into congregations and communities across Western Canada.
LTS has been richly blessed by generations of donors who established trusts and endowments to support theological education. Those funds continue to provide an important foundation for our work.
Today, the gifts that give LTS the greatest flexibility are those that can support the most urgent work of the seminary as needs and opportunities arise.
An unrestricted gift allows LTS to direct your support where it can be most useful.
Legacy gifts can sustain the teachers, students, and work of the seminary for generations still to come.
You do not need to make every decision before speaking with us. Hugh would be pleased to have a confidential conversation about what you hope your future gift might make possible.
